Ingredients


1 cup baby potatoes boiled and peeled (don't overcook)

3-4 tsp oil

1 tsp mustard,3-4 methi/fenugreek seeds

1/2 tsp asafoetida powder

1/2 tsp amchur powder or lime juice

Salt to taste

Make a paste of 2 tsp red chilli powder,1/2 tsp turmeric powder,1 tsp cumin powder,1/2 tsp chat masala, and keep aside

Chopped spring onion greens for garnishing




Procedure

  • In a non-stick Kadai heat oil and add mustard

  • When it starts crackling add asafoetida pdr, methi seeds

  • now put the potatoes, salt and fry till it becomes light brown in colour

  • Now add the masala paste and toss well for 5mins

  • Finally garnish with amchur, spring onion greens and serve hot with roti or rice.
