Ingredients
1 cup basmati rice washed n soaked in water for 15 mins
1 sliced onion
6 tsp oil
Salt to taste
1/4 cup chopped spinach leaves
1 tsp lime juice
Make a paste of:
Roast 1/2 capsicum and 1 small onion on a gas flame
Remove its black skin and clean it
Grind it with 5 garlic cloves,2 green chillies, and 1/4 cup coriander leaves into a fine paste
Procedure
In cooker heat oil and saute sliced onions till it becomes translucent
Put the ground masala and fry till it loses its rawness
Add the rice and fry for 5 mins
Put 1 1/2 cups water, lime juice, salt and chopped spinach,mix well
Close the cooker lid and cook for 2 whistles
Your rice is ready to serve.
