Crispy Fish fry

Ingredients

1 cup boneless basa fish cut into bite-size pieces

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1/2 tsp red chilli powder

3 tbsp cornflour

2 tbsp rice flour

Salt to taste

1/2 cup crushed cornflakes

Oil for deep frying




Procedure


  • Clean and wash fish pieces, apply little salt and keep aside for 10 minutes. Make a paste of cornflour, rice flour, ginger garlic paste, salt, and red chilli powder, adding little water.

  • Make a semi-thick paste, Heat oil in a pan. Put the crushed cornflakes on a plate.

  • Coat the fish with the prepared paste. Roll each piece in the cornflakes and deep fry them on a medium flame.

  • Once they turn golden brown and crisp transfer them on tissue paper.

  • Serve hot with mayo dip or ketchup.
