Prawn Garlic Noodles

Prawn Garlic Noodles - the best garlic noodles you'll ever make. Buttery, garlicky noodles served with juicy prawns, tastes heavenly.


Ingredients

2 finely chopped green chillies

1 tsp red chilli flakes

4 tsp finely chopped garlic

8-12 prawns (medium) shelled and deveined

2 cups boiled noodles

1/2 cup carrots, capsicum and beans cut into Julians

2 tbsp butter or oil

Salt to taste

1 tsp soya sauce

1/2 tsp red chilli sauce

1 tsp black pepper powder

1 tsp vinegar

2 tbsp finely chopped spring onion greens



Procedure


  • Marinate prawns with 1 tsp chopped garlic, salt, red chilli flakes, mix well and keep aside.

  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a non-stick pan. Add prawns and saute on high heat till they are 3/4 th done. Remove from the heat, and keep aside.

  • Heat the remaining oil in a non-stick pan. Add green chillies and saute. Add the remaining garlic and saute till it turns light brown.

  • Add veggies, mix well and sauté for 5 minutes with a little salt. Add noodles and toss. Add soy sauce, chilli sauce, salt, black pepper powder and mix well.

  • Add prawns and toss on high heat. Add some of the spring onion greens and toss.

  • Add vinegar and toss to mix. Switch off the heat.

  • Serve hot garnished with remaining chopped spring onion greens.
