Prawn Garlic Noodles - the best garlic noodles you'll ever make. Buttery, garlicky noodles served with juicy prawns, tastes heavenly.
Ingredients
2 finely chopped green chillies
1 tsp red chilli flakes
4 tsp finely chopped garlic
8-12 prawns (medium) shelled and deveined
2 cups boiled noodles
1/2 cup carrots, capsicum and beans cut into Julians
2 tbsp butter or oil
Salt to taste
1 tsp soya sauce
1/2 tsp red chilli sauce
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp vinegar
2 tbsp finely chopped spring onion greens
Procedure
Marinate prawns with 1 tsp chopped garlic, salt, red chilli flakes, mix well and keep aside.
Heat 1 tsp oil in a non-stick pan. Add prawns and saute on high heat till they are 3/4 th done. Remove from the heat, and keep aside.
Heat the remaining oil in a non-stick pan. Add green chillies and saute. Add the remaining garlic and saute till it turns light brown.
Add veggies, mix well and sauté for 5 minutes with a little salt. Add noodles and toss. Add soy sauce, chilli sauce, salt, black pepper powder and mix well.
Add prawns and toss on high heat. Add some of the spring onion greens and toss.
Add vinegar and toss to mix. Switch off the heat.
Serve hot garnished with remaining chopped spring onion greens.
