Ingredients
1 cup breadfruit / jeevkadgi cut into cubes and put into water
1/2 capsicum cut into cubes
1 onion chopped
1 green chilli chopped
5 garlic cloves finely chopped
1/2 inch ginger chopped
2 tsp tomato ketchup
2 tsp red chilli paste
1 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp vinegar
2 -3 tsp CHINGS CHILLI MASALA POWDER
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
For the marination:
4tblsp cornflour
2 tblsp rice flour
1 tsp chilli pdr
Salt to taste
Make a paste of these ingredients, marinate the breadfruit cubes and deep fry into crisp fritters and keep aside
Procedure
In a pan heat oil, fry garlic, ginger and green chillies chopped till light brown in colour
Add onion chopped and saute for a while, followed by red chilli paste and fry for 2 mins
Add soya sauce, ketchup, vinegar, and mix well
Add Chings masala pdr, capsicum cubes,1/4 cup water and salt to taste
Add the fried breadfruit fritters and toss well, check for the salt and garnish with chopped coriander leaves
Serve hot with any rice or noodles.
