
Ingredients
1 cup dry prawns
3 finely chopped onions
8 tsp oil
4 tsp red Chilli powder
little tamarind pulp
Salt to taste
3 tsp fresh grated coconut
Procedure
Clean the prawns and wash well, changing the water 4-5 times
In a Kadai heat oil and fry onion chopped till brown in colour
Add red chilli powder and saute for 2 mins
Add tamarind paste, washed prawns, salt to taste, coconut gratings,1/2 cup water and cook with a lid covered till prawns are cooked
Serve hot with rice and dal.
