Dry Prawns Spicy Curry

Ingredients


1 cup dry prawns

3 finely chopped onions

8 tsp oil

4 tsp red Chilli powder

little tamarind pulp

Salt to taste

3 tsp fresh grated coconut



Procedure

  • Clean the prawns and wash well, changing the water 4-5 times

  • In a Kadai heat oil and fry onion chopped till brown in colour

  • Add red chilli powder and saute for 2 mins

  • Add tamarind paste, washed prawns, salt to taste, coconut gratings,1/2 cup water and cook with a lid covered till prawns are cooked

  • Serve hot with rice and dal.
