Ingredients
10 mushrooms
2 finely chopped onions
1 slit green chilli
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp vinegar
2 tsp crushed pepper (use according to your taste)
4 tsp oil
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
For the marination:
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
3 tsp cornflour
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Wash mushrooms and cut into 2 pieces
Spread it on a kitchen towel and let it dry for 10 mins
Marinate it with the above ingredients and keep aside for 10 mins
Procedure
Heat on tava and shallow fry marinated mushrooms adding 2 tsp oil on a high flame for 5 mins
Transfer it on a plate and keep aside
Heat oil in a Kadai, add chopped onions and slit green chilli
Saute for 5 mins or till onion turns transparent
Add ginger-garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes
Add soya sauce, vinegar, crushed pepper, salt to taste and toss for a minute
Add in the marinated mushrooms and cook with a lid covered, till the mushrooms are done
It takes hardly 5 to 10 mins
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with ghee rice, pulav, or noodles.
