Gobi Lajawaab





Ingredients

1 cup gobi florets washed

3 tsp oil

whole garam masalas like Badi elaichi,Choti elaichi,bay leaf,lavang, each one-piece,1 tsp shahi jeera, small piece of cinnamon

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

2 tsp coriander powder

1 tsp cumin powder

1/2 tsp garam masala

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

2 tsp red chilli powder

2 medium onions chopped, boiled, and ground to a fine paste

1 tomato blanched

6 cashew nuts

2 tsp khova'1/4 cup milk

2 tsp Kasuri methi

Salt to taste

Chopped coriander leaves




Procedure

  • Put the gobi florets in salt water for 10 minutes

  • Drain water and make it dry

  • Add salt and deep fry the florets and keep aside

  • Grind blanched tomato and nuts

  • In a Kadai heat oil and add all the whole garam masalas and fry for a min.

  • put ginger garlic paste and fry

  • Add onion paste and fry till raw smell goes

  • Put the tomato nuts paste and saute for 3 mins

  • add all the spices and fry well

  • Now put the milk,khova, and little water

  • Add the fried gobi, salt, Kasuri methi and make it boil for 5 mins

  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
