
Ingredients
250 gms prawns cleaned and deveined
Oil for deep frying
1/4 cup maida
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp pepper pdr
Salt to taste
For the marination:
Make a paste of
1/4 cup coriander leaves
3 -4 green chillies
1/2 inch ginger
5 garlic cloves
1 small onion
1 clove/lavang
small cinnamon piece
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
Grind the above ingredients into a fine paste
Procedure
Marinate the cleaned prawns with the ground green paste and cornflour and refrigerate for 30 mins
In a bowl take maida, salt and pepper pdr and mix well
Heat oil, roll each prawn in maida mixture, dust the extra maida
Deep fry the prawns in oil on a medium flame till they are cooked
Serve hot.
NOTE: you can also shallow fry on tava or grill this in the oven with little oil.
