
Ingredients
25 gms prawns, washed, cleaned and deveined
4 tbsp oil
2 big onions finely chopped
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
3 slit green chillies
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
10 curry leaves
chopped coriander leaves
For the marination
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
Procedure
Mix all the ingredients mentioned under Marination, add little water and make a paste
Marinate the prawns with this paste and refrigerate it for half an hour
Heat oil in a pan, add marinated prawns and roast it in low medium heat until it is golden brown in colour
Remove it from the pan and keep in a bowl
In the same pan add chopped onions, curry leaves and fry
When onions turn golden brown in colour, add green chillies and ginger-garlic paste, cook for 5 mins
add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and cook for 2-3 mins
Sprinkle little water or oil if the masala is too dry
Add roasted prawns, lemon juice and toss well
Cook further for another 5 mins, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
