Mushroom Dry

Ingredients


10 mushrooms, washed cut into slices

2 sliced onions

2 sprigs of curry leaves

4 tsp oil

3 green chillies

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp garam masala

1 tsp coriander powder

3 tblsp grated fresh coconut

1/2 cup finely chopped coriander leaves

Salt to taste

1 tsp lemon juice




Procedure

  • Heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves, onion slices and saute till it becomes transparent

  • Add green chillies and fry for a second

  • Put the mushrooms, salt and cook with a lid covered

  • When the mushrooms are almost done add all the spice powders and mix well

  • Mix coconut gratings and chopped coriander leaves and add them to the mushrooms and toss well

  • Add the lime juice, mix well and serve hot with roti or rice.
