Spicy Ginger Chicken





Ingredients

1/2 kg chicken pieces (boneless)

3 tsp red chilli paste

3 tsp ginger paste + 3 tsp finely chopped ginger

1 egg

3 -4 tblsp cornflour

salt to taste

4 tsp oil+ oil for deep frying

1/4 cup chopped white part of spring onion

4 tsp spring onion greens chopped

3 red chillies

1 small pack of CHING'S CHILLI MIRACLE MASALA





Procedure

  • Wash and clean chicken pieces

  • Marinate with ginger paste,2 tsp redchilli paste, salt

  • Keep for 1/2 an hour

  • Mix it with cornflour and egg and deep fry on a medium flame (don't make too crispy, let it be a little juicy)

  • In a pan heat oil, add red chillies and ginger chopped

  • Saute for 2 minutes

  • Add remaining red chilli paste and spring onion white part and fry for 3-4 minutes

  • Add 3-4 tsp CHING'S CHILLI MIRACLE MASALA and 1/4 cup water and stir well

  • Put the deep-fried chicken pieces, Salt to taste and mix well

  • Garnish with chopped spring onion and serve hot with rice or noodles.

To make red chilli paste:

Soak 20 Kashmiri or byadgi red chillies in lukewarm water and grind with 6 garlic cloves .
