Aalu Methi

Ingredients

2 potatoes cut into small slices

1 cup chopped methi (fenugreek leaves)

2 chopped onions

5 chopped garlic cloves

3 tsp oil

2 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp daniya powder(coriander )

2 tsp jeera powder(cumin)

1/2 tsp haldi powder(turmeric)

Salt to taste

1/2 tsp lime juice




Procedure


  • In a saucepan take oil, add chopped garlic and onions

  • Saute for 5 minutes, add aalu chopped, salt and cover till it is half cooked

  • Add chopped methi and cook

  • Add all spices and mix well Finally put lime juice and serve hot with roti.
