Ingredients
1 kg without skin chicken cut into medium pieces(I used boneless pieces)
20-25 green chillies(10-12 coarsely ground and remaining slit lengthwise)
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 lemon
1 medium-sized onion chopped
2 tbsp oil
1-4 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Procedure
Marinate the chicken pieces with half of the lemon juice, turmeric powder, salt, half of the pepper powder and ground green chilli paste for 3-4 hrs
Heat oil and fry the slit green chillies till transparent, remove and keep aside
In the same pan fry onions till golden brown
Add the marinated chicken , fry till oil leaves the sides
Transfer it into a steel bowl and cook in the cooker without adding water to the chicken
Pressure cook 5-10 mins
Transfer to the original pan, add fried green chillies, remaining pepper powder, lemon juice and simmer for 5 mins
And Andhra chilli chicken is ready to eat.
