
Ingredients
1 cup finely chopped tender bamboo shoots
1 cup soaked dosa rice
1/2 cup soaked toor dal
1/4 cup grated coconut
4 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste
oil to deep fry
Procedure
Soak dal and rice for 5 hours
Grind with grated coconut to a little coarse batter (add little water)
Add salt, chilli powder and chopped bamboo shoots and make vadas and deep fry
If you are using brined bamboo shoots then soak them in water for 7-8 hrs or overnight.
