Batate Patthal Bhaji

This is a very simple and easy-to-make potato sabzi. This is slightly watery sabzi and tastes awesome with poori and chapati.





Ingredients

2 medium-sized potatoes cut into thin slices

1finely chopped

2 tbsp fresh grated coconut

chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

salt to taste

FOR TEMPERING:

2 tsp oil

1 tsp mustard

! sprig curry leaf

2 tsp urad dal

1/2 tsp Haldi powder

2-3 slit green chillies




Procedure


  • In cooker heat oil and add all the tempering ingredients one by one

  • Add chopped tomato, sliced potato, salt and 1/2 cup water

  • Close the lid and take 3 whistles

  • When steam is released open the lid and add coconut and coriander leaves and serve hot with poori or chapati
