Dahi puri, or Dahi batata puri, is a snack, originating from India, which is especially popular in the state of Maharashtra, India. The dish is a form of chaat and originates from the city of Mumbai. It is served with mini-puri shells, which are more popularly recognized from the dish Pani puri with some boiled potatoes and curds.
Ingredients
20 pooris
1 cup curds
1/2 cup fine sev
3 boiled potatoes
2 finely chopped onions
Chopped coriander leaves
Green chutney
Dates Tamarind sweet chutney
roasted jeera powder
Chat masala
Procedure
Mash boiled potatoes and mix with a little salt and chopped onions
Arrange pooris on a plate, break it little and fill with the potato-onion mixture
Put the curds, sweet and green chutney, chat masala, and jeera powder according to your taste
Put sev and chopped coriander leaves and serve.
