Trail mix - a healthy and tasty snack, a mixture of roasted dry fruits, nuts, and seeds. A quick energy booster.

Common ingredients include raisins, almonds, and cashews, though variations can also contain granola, chocolates, or other sweet and salty components.

This combination of carbohydrates, healthy fats, and protein can provide both immediate and lasting energy. Very simple and easy to make.

INGREDIENTS :

1/2 cup almonds

1/2 cup cashew nuts

1/2 cup pumpkin seeds

1/2 cup melon seeds

1/4 cup Black raisins

1/4 cup normal raisins

2 tsp refined oil

1 tsp chaat masala

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp black salt/ kaala namak

Salt to taste

1 tap sugar powder




PROCEDURE:

  • Dry roast separately almonds, cashew nuts, pumpkin seeds, and melon seeds, till they turn crisp.

  • Transfer them into a bowl. In the same pan, put the oil, add chaat masala, red chilli powder, and black salt.

  • Cook on a low heat for 1 minute. Add the roasted nuts and seeds. Give a good mix. Let it cool completely.

  • Now add the raisins and give a good mix. Store in an airtight container and enjoy!

  • You can also use makhana/lotus seeds, flax seeds, Sunflower seeds, and dry coconut.
