Drumstick Flower Butthi




Ingredients

1 cup washed and cleaned drumstick flowers

2 onions finely chopped

5 tsp oil

Salt to taste


For the masala paste:

3/4 cup fresh grated coconut

little tamarind

5 red chillies roasted in little oil

1 tsp coriander seeds

Grind into a semi coarse paste




Procedure


  • Heat oil in a pan, saute onions chopped init till they turn light brown

  • Add the drumstick flowers and salt, close with a lid and cook till done

  • Add the masala and 1/4 cup water, cook till it becomes semi-dry

  • Turn off the flame, serve hot with hot rice and dal.
