
Ingredients
4 Kantola/ Phagil
2 potatoes
3 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp asafoetida/hing powder
1/4 tsp turmeric/Haldi powder
2 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
Procedure
Scrape the outer skin of Kantola and cut it into thin wedges
Cut the potato into wedges and put both in water
Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard, when it starts crackling, add Hing powder, Haldi and put the Kantola, potato wedges draining the water
Cover and cook for 5mins
Add salt and 1/2 cup water and cook till both are cooked
Finally, sprinkle chilli powder and toss well
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
