Patrode Upkari With Onion






Ingredients


1 cup leftover pathrado cut into pieces

5 tsp oil

1 tsp mustard

1 tsp urad dal

2 red chillies

curry leaves

1 onion finely chopped

2 tbsp grated fresh coconut

Salt to taste



Procedure

  • In a pan heat oil, add mustard. When it starts crackling add curry leaves, urad dal, and fry till dal turns brown in color

  • Add red chilli bits and chopped onions and saute for 5 mins or till they turn light brown

  • Now add the pathrade cut into pieces, a little salt, and grated coconut

  • Mix well and toss it for 5 mins, serve hot with rice and dal.
