Rajma Palak





Ingredients


1 cup soaked and boiled rajma (red kidney beans)

1 cup finely chopped palak (spinach leaves)

5 tsp oil

2 chopped onions

1 finely chopped tomato

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1 green chilli

1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp garam masala powder

1 tsp Kasuri methi(dried fenugreek leaves)

Chopped coriander leaves

Salt to taste




Procedure

  • In a pan heat oil and saute chopped onions till it is transparent

  • Add ginger-garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes

  • Put tomato chopped and fry well

  • Add chopped palak and cook for 3 minutes

  • add slit green chilli, turmeric,chilli powder and garam masala and fry

  • Put boiled rajma, salt to taste and 1/2 cup water

  • Make it boil for 5 minutes

  • Add Kasuri methi and chopped coriander leaves

  • Serve hot with roti.
