Set Dosa

Ingredients


4 cups dosa rice

2 cups poha/ avalakki / beaten rice

1 tsp methi/fenugreek seeds

1 cup curds

1/2 tsp cooking soda

Salt to taste

Oil for cooking dosa


Procedure

  • Soak rice, with methi seeds for 5-6 hrs

  • Wash well, and grind with washed poha into a smooth batter

  • Add curds and mix well

  • Let it ferment for 8 hrs

  • Before making dosa add salt, cooking soda and mix well

  • Heat Tava and make thick dosa, adding 2 tsp oil

  • Cook on both sides (optional)

  • Serve hot with coconut chutney
