
Ingredients
2 cups of raw rice
1 cup parboiled rice
1/2 cup urad dal
1/2 cup thick poha
1 tsp methi/ fenugreek seeds
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp sugar(optional)
Oil for roasting dosa
Procedure
Soak 2 types of rice, urad dal, and methi seeds in enough water for 6 hrs
Soak poha for 1 hour, grind poha with other soaked ingredients into a smooth batter
Allow fermenting at a warm temperature for 10-12 hrs
Mix salt and sugar to fermented batter
Heat Tava, sprinkle water and pour a ladle full of batter n spread little to make thick dosa
Turn the dosa upside down and roast a little adding 2 tsp oil
Serve hot with chutney or saagu.
