This is a very simple and tasty chaat for your evening snack. Sweet corn roasted on gas flame and the roasted kernels mixed with some spices, chopped tomato, and onions. you can also add chopped pineapple or pomegranate pearls too. Or you can add some farsan, crispy boondi, roasted peanuts, depending on your taste.
Ingredients
2 Sweet Corn Cobs
1 finely chopped onion
2-3 chopped green chillies
1/2 inch ginger finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped
4-5 Pudina/mint leaves
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp roasted cumin/jeera powder
Salt to taste
Procedure
Firstly remove the corn husk and strings from the corn. Roast the corn on the grill or open a gas flame.
Move it around every 30 seconds or so, so that the corn gets roasted evenly.
You will hear some kernels pop. All the kernels will blacken to verifying degrees.
Once it is roasted Separate all the kernels from the cob with the help of a knife.
Put the roasted kernels into a bowl, and add all the other ingredients.
Give a good mix and serve immediately.
