
Ingredients
1 cup dosa rice
1 1/4 cups puffed rice paddy/laayi/battada araLu
1/4 cup grated fresh coconut
Pinch salt
Jaggery to taste
Cardamom powder
Ghee for cooking appo/paniyaram
Procedure
Soak rice in water for 3-4 hrs, wash rice, puffed paddy rice and grind into a fine paste with coconut, salt without adding much water
Add Lil water only if needed
Once it becomes smooth paste add jaggery powdered and grind again
Keep the batter for 3-4 hours and make appo using ghee
Add pinch cooking soda if necessary.
