Lauki Paratha With Dahi Raitha






Ingredients

1/2 cup grated lauki (bottle gourd)

3 crushed green chillies

1/2 tsp daniya jeera powder (coriander-cumin )

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 1/2 cup atta (wheat flour)

Salt to taste




Procedure


  • Mix all the above ingredients with water and knead to make a soft dough

  • Divide into equal portions and make balls

  • Roll the balls into a roti and spread around 1 tsp sesame seeds over it and press it lightly

  • Roast it on tava with ghee or oil

  • Serve with dahi raita.

  • To make raitha take 1 cup curd, add salt to taste and little sugar and mix

  • In 2 tsp oil add 1 tsp cumin seeds,1/4 tsp asafoetida powder,2 finely chopped green chillies and 1/2 tsp chilli powder.

  • Add this tempering to Dahi (curd) and serve.
