This tambli is the easiest rice accompaniment that can be prepared in a jiffy, with very few ingredients. This is a part of North Karnataka cuisine. Tastes yummy with rice in hot summer.

Ingredients
2 cups Buttermilk / Majjige
Salt to taste
For the tempering:
2 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp mustard
2 chopped green chillies
1 red chilli bits
5 crushed garlic cloves
Few curry leaves
Procedure
Take 2 cups of medium-thick buttermilk in a bowl, add salt to taste
In Kadai take 2 tsp oil , add 1 tsp mustard,2 chopped green chillies,1 red chilli, curry leaves and 4 crushed garlic cloves
Fry till brown and add to buttermilk and serve chilled with hot rice.
