Mulangi Soppina Palya / Radish Leaves Stir Fry

Ingredients


2 Cups finely chopped radish leaves or any other greens

1/2 cup toor dal

4 tsp oil

1 tsp mustard

2 finely chopped onion3-4 green chillies chopped

3 chopped garlic cloves

1/2 tsp turmeric pdr

2 tblsp fresh grated coconut

Salt to taste




Procedure

  • Wash the leaves well and chop finely

  • Soak dal in water for 15 mins and cook with leaves and 1/2 cup water in cooker for 2 whistles

  • In a pan heat oil, put mustard and when it crackles add green chillies, garlic and fry for 2 mins

  • Add onions and saute till it turns light pink

  • Put turmeric pdr, cooked dal and leaves mixture, grated coconut, salt and cook for 5 mins

  • Serve hot with chapati or rice.
