Open masala paniyaram

Ingredients
1 cup urad dal
2 cups dosa rice
1 tsp methi seeds
2 bread slices
salt to taste
oil for cooking
For the stuffing masala:
2 tsp oil
1/4 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup boiled green peas
2 chopped onions
2 crushed green chillies
2 tsp chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Procedure
To make the stuffing, in a pan heat oil and saute onions, green chillies for 2 minutes
Add grated carrot, green peas, salt and cook for 5 minutes
Add chopped coriander leaves, your stuffing is ready.
Soak urad dal, dosa rice and methi seeds in water for 5- 6 hours
Grind this with 2 slices of bread to a smooth batter
Ferment the batter for 7-8 hrs or overnight
Add salt to taste
Make appo or guliappa in its pan adding little oil
Put around 2 tsp of masala over the appo and cook it on both sides.
Serve with coconut chutney or sambar.
You can also use other veggies of your choice and also add any other masala according to your taste.
