Urad Maida dosa with Rice flour and Rava

Ingredients

1/2 cup urad dal

1 cup maida

1/4 cup rice flour

1/4 cup chiroti rava / fine semolina

Salt to taste

Oil for cooking dosa

Chutney for serving



Procedure


  • Soak urad dal in water for 3 to 4 hrs, wash well and grind into a smooth paste

  • Keep covered for fermentation for 8 hrs or overnight

  • The next day in a bowl mix maida, rice flour, rava with water and make a smooth batter without any lumps

  • Mix this with fermented urad dal paste, and keep covered for 15 mins

  • Heat tava and make thin dosas adding ghee or oil

  • Cook dosa both the sides and serve hot with chutney or sambar
