Bikkanda Saung / Jackfruit Seeds Spicy Curry

Ingredients


1 cup jackfruit seeds cut into pieces and boiled

2 chopped onions

2 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp tamarind pulp

Salt to taste



Procedure

  • In a pan take oil and fry onions till light brown in colour

  • Add chilli powder and fry for 3 minutes

  • Add tamarind pulp

  • Put boiled jackfruit seeds, salt to taste,1/4 cup water and cook for 5 minutes

  • Serve with hot rice and dal, or idli, dosa, idiyappam.
