Ingredients
1 cup gerkins / tendle
1/2 cup raw peanuts
3 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
Pinch of hing
1 sprig of curry leaf
2-3 slit green chillies
Salt to taste
3 tbsp grated coconut
Procedure
Wash the gerkins and cut into thin roundels
In cooker heat oil, add mustard, when it starts crackling add curry leaves,hing, slit green chillies and fry for a second
Add the chopped gerkins, peanuts, salt to taste and 1/4 cup water
Close the lid of the cooker and cook it for 2 whistles
Once the steam is released, open the cooker, add the grated coconut.
Mix well and serve hot with rice and dal.
