Ingredients
1 cup gobi/cauliflower florets
2 potatoes cut into small slices
5 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
4 methi/ fenugreek seeds
1/4 tsp hing/ asafoetida
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
3 green chillies chopped
Salt to taste
Procedure
Wash the gobi florets and micro it on high flame with little salt and water for 3-4 mins
In a thick bottomed pan heat oil, add mustard, when it starts crackling add methi,hing green chillies and fry for a minute
add turmeric powder and sliced potato, salt to taste and cook
Once potatoes are half done add gobi florets (drain the water from them)
Cook for another 5 mins, check the salt and turn off the flame
Serve hot with rice and dal.
