Ingredients
1 Mattu Gulla/ Green Brinjal
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
For the batter You need:
3/4 cup besan/ chickpea flour
1 tbsp rice flour
2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp hing powder
Salt to taste
Pinch of cooking soda
Add water and prepare a smooth, thick batter with the above-mentioned ingredients
Procedure
Cut the stem of brinjal, cut into 2 pieces and make thin slices, and put in water
Wash the brinjal slices, apply little salt to it
Heat oil, dip each slice in the prepared batter, and deep fry the Bajo /pakoda
Serve hot with coffee or tea.
