

Ingredients
1 cup moong sprouts/ sprouted green gram
1.5 tblsp oil
2 small onions chopped 1 tomato chopped 4 garlic cloves finely chopped
1 green chilli chopped
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp hing/ asafoetida powder
1 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp goda masala or garam masala
1 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
2 tblsp grated coconut
Lemon wedges, chopped onions, and farsan for serving
Procedure
Cook the sprouts in cooker with 1/2 cup water only for 1 or two whistles
In a pan heat oil, add chopped garlic, onions and saute till it becomes transparent
Put hing, tomato chopped and cook till it becomes mushy
Now add all the spice powders one by one and fry for 2 mins
Add the cooked sprouts, salt to taste and water to adjust the consistency
Add coconut gratings and make it boil for 5 mins
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
Put in a serving plate and sprinkle some farsan, chopped onions over it
Serve hot with pav or bread slices!!!
