Nendra Banana Bajji/Pakoda

Ingredients


2 riped nendra bale/ Keraala banana

Salt to taste

Oil for deep frying



For the batter You need:

3/4 cup besan/ chickpea flour

1 tbsp rice flour

2 tsp red chilli powder

1/2 tsp hing powder

Salt to taste

Pinch of cooking soda

Add water and prepare a smooth, thick batter with the above-mentioned ingredients




Procedure

  • Cut the ends of the banana, peel it and cut into 1/2 inch thin slices

  • Heat oil,dip each slice in the prepared batter, and deep fry the Bajo /pakoda

  • Serve hot with coffee or tea.
