Ingredients


1 cup of rice floor

1/4 cup maida

1/4 cup peanuts

1/4 cup putani/ roasted daliya

2 sprigs of curry leaves chopped

1.5 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp sesame seeds

Salt to taste

Oil for deep frying




Procedure


  • Slightly crush the peanuts and keep them aside

  • Take a bowl and mix rice flour, maida, salt chopped curry leaves, red chilli powder crushed peanuts and putani

  • Mix well and make a soft dough adding water as required

  • Heat oil, divide the dough into small portions and make balls

  • Press each ball on a greased plastic sheet and deep fry on a medium flame till brown and crisp

  • Store in an airtight container once it comes to room temperature

  • Enjoy with a hot cup of tea or coffee.
