Ingredients
3 drumsticks
Oil for deep frying
1/4 cup rice flour for coating
For the masala paste:
2 tbsp rice flour
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp hing/asafoetida powder
Salt to taste
Procedure
Wash drumsticks and remove the skin. Cut the drumsticks into 2-inch pieces.
Apply little salt and keep aside.
Mix rice flour, salt, red chilli powder and hing, add water little by little and make a thick paste.
Mix cut drumsticks with this chilli paste. Mix well so that all the pieces are well coated with the paste.
Take rice flour on a plate. Heat oil in a kadayi.
Roll each drumstick piece in the rice flour. Deep fry them in the preheated oil on a medium flame.
Fry till they turn crisp and golden brown. Transfer them on tissue paper.
Serve hot with rice and dal.
