Batate Gojju / Potato Gojju

Ingredients

2 boiled potatoes

1 big tomato cut into pieced and boiled

2 green chillies crushed

2 tbsp grated coconut

2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Salt to taste


For the tempering:

2 tsp oil

1 tsp mustard

curry leaves

Generous amount of hing/ asafoetida




Procedure


  • Take boiled potato and tomato in a bowl and mash well, add crushed green chillies, coconut gratings, salt, coriander leaves and mix well

  • Add little water and adjust the consistency according to your taste

  • Add the tempering and mix well

  • Serve with rice and dal or konji/ ganji/ peaj
